I graduated in 1979 from a famous art school in Paris : “l’ école supérieure des arts appliqués Duperré ” and I entered in the “atelier de P.A Mora”, a famous restoration’s studio in Paris , as a trainee for seven years.
Thanks to my collaboration in this workshop, I’ve acquired a strong background in the restoration’s works and I participated in several prestigious works.
This collaboration allowed me to discover my passion for painting copies and I studied the old techniques carefully.
Between 1987 and 1989, I was hired by the restoration’s firm ARCOA, register authorized by the Historic Monuments Museum in Paris and I pursued my career as an independent restorer, working for the “Service des Objets d’Art des Eglises de Paris”, (art of churches), but I also worked for private customers.

At the same time, I decided to deepen my knowledge in copies, studying original art’s works at the Louvres Museum and then at the Orsay Museum.
I was so exited by these wonderful artists that I wanted to strongly involve myself in this way.
